Building Tomorrow's Game Developers
We started Synapse Reflect because we saw too many talented people struggling with outdated learning approaches. Our mission is simple: teach real Unreal Engine skills that actually matter in today's game industry.
Meet Our Founders
Marcus and David met while working on mobile game projects back in 2018. Both had spent years learning Unreal Engine the hard way – through trial and error, outdated tutorials, and countless late nights debugging code that should have been straightforward.
After mentoring dozens of junior developers, they realized something important: most educational programs teach theory without practical application. Students would graduate knowing concepts but couldn't actually build games.
So they decided to create something different. A program focused entirely on hands-on learning with real project work that mirrors what studios actually do.
Our Mission
We believe learning Unreal Engine should be practical and engaging. No endless theory sessions or abstract concepts that never get applied.
Every lesson we create starts with a real problem game developers face. Then we show you exactly how to solve it using industry-standard approaches.
Our students don't just learn – they build actual game features they can showcase in portfolios.
How We Got Here
After years of freelance work and studio positions, we kept seeing the same pattern. New hires would know terminology but couldn't implement features efficiently.
The gap between education and real-world application was huge. So we started small – helping a few people learn Blueprint scripting for specific projects.
Word spread quickly. By 2023, we were regularly teaching workshops. Now we're preparing comprehensive programs for 2025.
